About the research
One initiative, two separate studies
The Graduate Success Benchmark is a research initiative developed and coordinated by GROW. It contains two separate but complementary studies. Neither is a phase of the other, and they do not use the same methodology or measure the same outcomes.
Graduate Support Survey
Tells us what training providers report offering. Providers answer 20 questions about their programme across five stages. It produces a self-reported Graduate Support Provision Score out of 100 and a comparative ranking among participating programmes.

Practitioner Success Survey
Tells us what graduates report experiencing and how their careers have developed. It does not produce a graduate success score or a ranking of training providers.

What the studies can and cannot show
Both studies are observational and rely on self-report. Together they can describe current practice and examine patterns and associations between educational support and professional outcomes. Neither study establishes causation, and findings cannot automatically be generalised to all providers or all practitioner graduates.
Sponsorship and conflict of interest
GROW sponsors and coordinates the initiative. GROW also provides business education and support to practitioners and training organisations, and this is disclosed as a potential conflict of interest. Both questionnaires use supplier-neutral wording. Participation does not require or imply endorsement of GROW products or services, and taking part in the research is never treated as consent to marketing.
